July 14 workshop with Paula Rider

This is the block we will be making in my class. We will be using a variety of scrap fabric strips 1 1/2“ to 2 1/2” wide by 13” long. A great way to use up some of your fabric stash. Bring at least 40 strips in various prints and 20 strips of a neutral. Bring more strips if you would like to trade with a neighbor for more variety. - Paula Rider

August 11 workshop -
Quilted Jacket starting with a Completed Quilt

Above are examples of some of the jackets made in Andrew's classes. The jackets are customizable. Yours will look different than these.

The class will require a completed quilt measuring 60x80 for sizes Small to Large. 80 x 80 for sizes X-Large to 3XL.

If you don't have a quilt that you want to cut up, find one that you like to purchase. Look at thrift stores, etc.
Be sure to measure before you buy!

2026 BOM (Block of the Month)

This year's BOM honors one of our founding members Doris Krake. There will be 12 blocks, each measuring 12" x 12" finished.

Barbara Olinger will provide the patterns for 2 blocks each month May through October. Patterns are available here, on this page, only.

For each of the blocks, Barbara will also provide a copy of Doris Krake's own pattern, which was written for use with templates (pre-rotary cutter) and the block's history.

At the March, 2027 meeting, your name will be entered into a drawing IF your quilt is complete - label included. One name will be drawn. Prize will be a gift certificate to a quilt shop of your choice.
